DAYTON- The Wright State men's soccer team (1-10-1, 1-4 HL) will wrap up its three-game home stand on Saturday afternoon as the Raiders welcome Milwaukee to town. First touch is slated for 1 p.m., with senior ceremonies set to begin pregame at 12 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Raiders team dropped a heartbreaker to Northern Kentucky 1-2, Saturday night at Alumni Field.
WSU controlled the possession for the first 45 minutes, holding 61% of the possession. The match was physical, with seven total cards being shown, two of which came in the first half.
Wright State was served a red card in the 50
th minute and played the final 40 minutes with 10 men.
Henry Hutchinson would break open the scoring and give the Raiders the lead in the 73
rd minute.
Maximilian Banfi dribbled the ball up the left wing and into the 18-yard box, then laid off a pass to Hutchinson, who sent a first-time shot past the Norse goalie and into the back of the net.
Northern Kentucky would score the equalizer in the 80
th minute. Bennett Gerak took a free kick out on the left wing and sent a cross into the box that found the head of Steven Boaghe Braniste. The junior sent a header over the goalie and into the back of the net.
The Norse would complete their comeback and stun the Raiders, netting the game-winning goal with just 30 seconds on the clock. Gerak again sent a cross into the box, this time from open play. The cross found the chest of Ali Taleb and found its way into the back of the net.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
Milwaukee enters Alumni Field at 3-5-6 on the season and an unbeaten 2-0-3 mark in Horizon League Play. The Panthers are coming off a 2-1 victory over in-state and conference rival Green Bay last Saturday. Milwaukee is outscoring its opponents 23-18 on the season. Pirry Fernando has led the charge offensively, leading the team in points (11) and goals (5). Nic Diana has played and started 13 games in net for the Panthers, allowing just 17 goals while recording 56 saves over 1,170 minutes.
HISTORY VS. MILWAUKEE
Saturday's match will mark the 40
th all-time meeting between Wright State and Milwaukee, a series that the Panthers lead 18-13-8. The two squads played to a 3-3 draw when they met in Milwaukee last season. The Raiders came out on top 1-0 the last time the two teams met at Alumni Field.

RAIDER ON THE RISE
Oneil Mitchell has stepped into a major role for the Raiders after not playing in the team's first seven matches. Mitchell made his collegiate debut at Notre Dame, logging 83 minutes in defense. The freshman then played all 90 minutes against Detroit Mercy and Cleveland State, scoring the Raiders' lone goal in each match. His 34
th-minute goal proved to be the winner over Detroit Mercy. Mitchell rose above the pack on a corner kick to head the ball past the Titans' goalie.
KING HENRY
Junior,
Henry Hutchinson, has accounted for 36% of the goals scored by the Raiders this season. The Westerville, Ohio, native has already set a new career high in goals scored, with four, surpassing his previous high of two from the 2023 and 2024 seasons. So far this season, Hutchinson has scored against Belmont, Loyola Chicago, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Northern Kentucky.
LAST SEASON REWIND
Wright State finished last season with a 7-9-2 overall record and a 3-5-1 mark in Horizon League play. The Raiders were 4-3-1 at home at Alumni Field last season.
