LAST TIME OUT

The Raiders rolled off their fourth straight 1-0 shutout victory Sunday afternoon at Alumni Field against Detroit Mercy.

Detroit Mercy generated some early chances, firing three shots on net in the first 10 minutes, all of which were turned away by goalkeeper Kiara Sarka.

The Raiders would score their lone goal in the 20th minute with some beautiful build-up play. Caitlin Burger got the ball around midfield, dribbling it into space before playing a ball out to Samara Nunn on the right wing. Nunn then played a pass to the feet of Olivia Stroud, who took a touch and buried the shot across the Detroit Mercy goalkeeper and into the back of the net. The goal is Stroud's first of the season and the second assist of the season for both Burger and Nunn.

Wright State would control the pace of play for the rest of the first half and a majority of the second half before Detroit Mercy generated some quality attacks. The Raiders' defense would bend but not break in the final four minutes, weathering three Titans' shots that forced two Sarka saves.

SCOUTING THE JAGUARS
IU comes into Thursday night's match at 1-7-1 on the season and 0-1 in Horizon League play. The Jaguars are 0-4-1 at home this season, with their lone win coming at Indiana State on August 27. Offensively, IU Indy sports a balanced offensive attack with their six goals on the season being scored by six different student-athletes. Graduate Student Sarah Bambrick has been the main goalie between the posts for the Jaguars, starting seven games. Bambrick is coming off a season-high in saves Sunday afternoon against Northern Kentucky with five saves.

The pair split the shutout at Central Michigan, each playing 45 minutes.
