Men’s Soccer Heads to the Windy City for Match with Loyola Chicago

DAYTON- The Wright State men's soccer team will head up to the Windy City on Thursday, September 4 for an evening match with Loyola Chicago. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET and fans can follow the action via an ESPN+ live stream and live stats will also be provided.

SCOUTING THE RAMBLERS
Loyola Chicago finished last season with a record of 5-9-2 and a 3-4-1 record in A-10 play. The Ramblers sport an undefeated 1-0-2 record on the 2025 campaign with a win over Oakland to open the season.

HISTORY VS. LOYOLA CHICAGO
Thursday evening's match will be the 24th all-time between the Raiders and the Ramblers, a series that Loyola Chicago holds a narrow 11-10-2 lead in. The Ramblers defeated the Raiders when the two squads met last season at Loyola Soccer Park.

LAST SEASON REWIND
Wright State finished last season with a 7-9-2 overall record and a 3-5-1 mark in Horizon League play. The Raiders were 4-3-1 at home at Alumni Field last season.

WSU welcomes 11 newcomers – including four freshman – to this season's roster. The Raiders' roster includes four freshmen, 14 sophomores, three juniors, six, seniors, and one graduate student.
