2014: Team's Raider Award winner...Second Team All-Horizon League...hit .254 with 29 hits, 19 runs and 15 RBI...four doubles...lone homerun came against Milwaukee...16 walks and four stolen bases...six multi-hit games...mostly at third but also catcher...played in 40 games with 29 starts.
2013: Appeared in nine games with 13 total at bats...pinch hitter then entered as catcher otr at third base...both hits were doubles resulting in two RBI...nine put outs with one assist...one walk and one run scored.
2012: Redshirted.
Notes: Son of Joe and Caryl Murphy...transfer from Robert Morris University where he played two years...hit .327 with 21 RBIs and 18 runs scored...was high school team captain and MVP...named all-league at Oak Forest High School...also played hockey in high school.
