The Wright State softball team fell behind 4-0 in the first and could not recover as the Raiders dropped a 9-0 decision at Ball State Tuesday afternoon.

A three-run home run by Amanda Montalto helped the Cardinals built a 4-0 lead in the first and Ball State added five more in the fourth, two coming on a homer by Jennifer Gilbert.

Wright State (18-17) takes on another Mid-American Conference opponent on Wednesday as the Raiders host Miami in a single game starting at 5:00.
