Men's Soccer Ties at Ohio State

Box Score

The Wright State men's soccer team battled Ohio State to a scoreless tie Tuesday evening at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus.

Both teams had limited opportunities to score in the first half as each squad attempted four shots, with the Buckeyes recording two shots on goal and the Raiders one.  OSU outshot WSU 7-4 in the second half, but the Wright State defense maintained the shutout as junior goalkeeper Craig Feehan recorded three saves.

The Raiders then held the Buckeyes without a shot in the two overtime periods while notching four shots of their own.

Feehan finished with four saves overall in posting his first shutout of the season and the fifth of his career.

Wright State (1-2-1) hosts Northern Kentucky Friday night at Alumni Field starting at 8:00.
