Box Score After a scoreless 90 minutes of regulation, it took just 30 seconds to decide the match in overtime as a Peguy Ngatcha golden goal gave the Wright State men's soccer team a 1-0 Horizon League win at Cleveland State Saturday night.
Ngatcha tallied his fifth goal of the season as the junior forward connected on a service in the box for his second game-winning goal of the year. Freshman midfielder Jackson Dietrich was credited with the assist, his fifth of the season.
Junior goalkeeper Tyler Blackmer posted his fourth shutout of the season, recording five saves in the process.
WSU led 11-7 in shots and 6-2 in corner kicks, with CSU holding a 5-4 edge in shots on goal.
Wright State (6-1, 1-0 Horizon), which stretched its winning streak to four with the victory, hosts Northern Kentucky in its league home opener on Tuesday, Spetember 22, at Alumni Field starting at 7:00.
