The Wright State baseball team will have to come back through the loser bracket after falling the #2 UIC 10-6 in 10 innings Friday afternoon at WSU's Nischwitz Stadium. WSU will play Milwaukee Friday at 5 pm in an elimination game. UIC will play the winner of that game on Saturday at Noon.

Player of the Year Peyton Burdick collected four hits, including a homerun, three RBI and three runs scored. Seth Gray picked up three hits with a triple and three RBI as JD Orr and Tyler Black each ended with two hits. Reliever Tyler Luneke took the loss after going 2.2 innings, allowing five earned runs. Starter pitcher Bradley Brehmer went four innings, letting up four runs and six hits.

After UIC took an early 3-0 lead, the Raiders loaded the bases as Chase Sloan scored on a sacrifice fly to left field by Damon Dues to make 3-1. Player of the Year Peyton Burdick went yard to right center to score JD Orr and Brandon Giltrow for a 4-3 Raider advantage. It was Burdick's second homer of the tournament and 15th overall.

Bottom of Sixth
As the Flames took the lead back with three runs in the fourth 6-4, Burdick led off with a single and went to second on the bad throw as Seth Gray scored him with a hit to right. Though the Raiders threatened with the bases loaded, they were not able to score.

Bottom of Seventh
Seth Gray tripled down the right field line to score Peyton Burdick, tying the score 6-6.

WSU is now 42-16 while the Panthers are 34-20-1.
