DAYTON – The Wright State men's soccer team closes out its regular season home slate on Saturday night as the Raiders host Cleveland State at Alumni Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. and will feature Senior Day festivities prior to the match.

The Raiders (4-9-1, 3-4-1 HL) are coming off back-to-back out of conference losses at Marshall and Duquesne, while Cleveland State (6-10-2, 5-5-1 HL) has won its last two contests and is 2-5-1 away from home this season.
With two matches remaining in the regular season, the Raiders currently sit tied for seventh in the Horizon League standings with 10 points, two points back of the postseason. Detroit Mercy, UIC and Northern Kentucky all enter the weekend with 12 points.
Zion Beaton leads Wright State with four goals this season, while
Reece Allbaugh,
Joe Kouadio and
Conner Osterholt each have three goals. The Raiders have seven players with double-digit shots this season, paced by 29 attempts from Beaton and 25 from
Presten Manthey. Allbaugh has a team-leading five assists, while Manthey and
Ids Hannema have each added three.
Cleveland State has tallied just 11 goals over its 16 contests, with four players having scored two goals each. Grace Grant leads the team with 34 shots, including 18 shots on goal, the only player with double-digit shots on frame to date.
Wright State tallied a 2-1 victory over Cleveland State at Alumni Field back in late February, with goals from Kouadio and
Brayden McNitt.
After Saturday's match, Wright State closes the regular season at Detroit Mercy on November 3.
