DAYTON- The Wright State men's soccer team (2-10-1, 2-4 HL) will take a road trip up north to America's Dairyland for a Horizon League matchup with Green Bay. First touch in Green Bay is slated for 4 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Raiders got a big 4-2 win over Milwaukee Saturday afternoon at Alumni Field.
 
Wright State got on the scoreboard early, netting its first goal in the 10
th minute. 
Roman Kedgley got the ball off a rebounded save and played a pass out wide to 
Henry Hutchinson, who played the ball to 
Marko Odorcic, who sent a first-time shot into the bottom left corner of the net. The goal is Odorcic's first of the season and first in the match.
 
Milwaukee would score the equalizer just before halftime, scoring in the 38
th minute. Mitch Goodman stood over a corner kick and sent a cross into the box that found the head of Ryan Berghauer, who redirected it into the back of the net.
 
The Panthers came out of the halftime break hot and scored just three minutes into the second half. Mitch Goodman played a long pass up to Dominic Zuniga, who played a low cross to Daiki Kumakawa to put Milwaukee up 2-1.
 
Oneil Mitchell would bring the game level in the 66
th minute with his third goal of the season. 
Uleto Fuentes sent a corner kick into the box that found the head of an unmarked Mitchell, who sent his header past the Panthers' goalie.
 
Odorcic would score the eventual game winner in the 73
rd minute. 
Ishmael Mensah got the ball on a sloppy Milwaukee clearance, played a pass to Odorcic, who sent another first-time shot into the bottom corner of the net.
 
The Raiders would get a goal of insurance in the 85
th minute. 
Edwin Espinal-Elvir chipped a cross to the back post that found the head of 
Keiji Nakazawa for an easy finish.
 
SCOUTING THE PHOENIX
Green Bay enters Saturday afternoon's match at 5-7-1 on the season with a 2-3 mark in Horizon League play. The Phoenix are coming off a 1-2 loss against non-conference opponent St. Thomas on Tuesday night. Senior Keegan Johnson leads the squad in points (11), assists (3), and tied for the team lead in goals (4). Goalkeeper Drew Swancutt earned Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week honors last week after recording a career-high seven saves in a 1-0 shutout win over Purdue Fort Wayne. In his six starts this year, three have been shutouts.
HISTORY VS. GREEN BAY
Saturday's match will mark the 39
th meeting all-time between Wright State and Green Bay, a series that the Phoenix lead 20-16-2 all-time. Green Bay came out on top 2-1 when the two squads met last season at Alumni Field. The Raiders shut out the Phoenix 2-0 the last time the two teams met in Green Bay.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Wright State sophomore midfielder 
Marko Odorcic was named Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, October 20.
 
Odorcic scored a brace in Wright State's 4-2 senior day victory over Milwaukee on Saturday. The sophomore opened the scoring in the 10
th minute, sending a first-time shot into the bottom left corner of the net off assists from Hutchinson and Kedgley.
 
The midfielder would score the eventual game-winner in the 73
rd minute. Mensah got the ball on a sloppy clearance by the Milwaukee defense, played a pass to Odorcic, who sent another first-time shot, this time from outside the 18-yard box, into the bottom corner of the net.
 
RAIDER ON THE RISE
Oneil Mitchell has stepped into a major role for the Raiders after not playing in the team's first seven matches. Mitchell made his collegiate debut at Notre Dame, logging 83 minutes in defense. The freshman then played all 90 minutes against Detroit Mercy and Cleveland State, scoring the Raiders' lone goal in each match. His 34
th-minute goal proved to be the winner over Detroit Mercy. Mitchell rose above the pack on a corner kick to head the ball past the Titans' goalie. Mitchell scored his third goal of the season against Milwaukee, heading home a corner kick in the 66
th minute.
 
KING HENRY
Junior, 
Henry Hutchinson, has accounted for just under 33% of the goals scored by the Raiders this season. The Westerville, Ohio, native has already set a new career high in goals scored, with four, surpassing his previous high of two from the 2023 and 2024 seasons. So far this season, Hutchinson has scored against Belmont, Loyola Chicago, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Northern Kentucky.
LAST SEASON REWIND
Wright State finished last season with a 7-9-2 overall record and a 3-5-1 mark in Horizon League play. The Raiders were 4-3-1 at home at Alumni Field last season.
