Junior outfielder Jess Gorman was named to the All-Tournament Team as the Horizon League Softball Championship wrapped up Saturday at the WSU Softball Field.
Gorman (Hartville, OH/Marlington) hit .545 (6 for 11) in three tournament games with two runs scored. She went one for three in the tournament opener against Valparaiso, a perfect four for four with two runs scored in a 6-5 win over Cleveland State and one for four versus UIC.
Gorman, a First Team All-League selection this season, finished with a .349 average with seven home runs and 20 RBI. She also scored 30 runs, stole 11 bases and had a .441 on-base percentage.
#1 seed Green Bay won the championship, defeating #3 Valparaiso in the final game 9-0.
