A 7-0 burst, including four from Erica Richardson, gave WSU a 15-6 margin at the 11:09 mark of the first half and the Raiders maintained that advantage until a three-point play by Julie DeMuth gave Ball State a 27-26 lead with 3:53 remaining.

Threes by Kanisha Ward and Lewis cut the deficit to 73-68 with 20 seconds remaining, but the Raiders could get no closer as two Kelsey Corbin foul shots at the eight-second mark put the game out of reach.
Wright State shot 43 percent overall, including 44 percent from three-point range, but could not overcome Ball State shooting 50 percent both overall and from behind the arc, including a six-for-nine performance the final 20 minutes.
