DAYTON/INDIANAPOLIS- The Horizon League announced its 2025-26 women's basketball conference schedule Thursday morning. The 20-game double round-robin slate will begin in December.
Wright State will open conference play in in the Nutter Center on December 3 against Oakland. The Raiders will then hit the road to for a pair of conference games against Purdue Fort Wayne (Dec. 7) and Youngstown State (Dec. 16). Wright State closes 2025 at home, hosting Green Bay (Dec. 30).
The Raiders will open the new year in the Nutter Center on January 2 against Detroit Mercy before hitting the road to take on Cleveland State (Jan. 7) and IU Indianapolis (Jan. 11). Wright State's longest home-stand in conference play comes in the middle of January as the Raiders play host to Youngstown State (Jan. 14), Northern Kentucky (Jan. 17), and Robert Morris (Jan. 25). WSU will close out the month in the state of Wisconsin facing off at Green Bay (Jan. 29) and Milwaukee (Jan. 31).
Wright State will have four home games in February, hosting Purdue Fort Wayne (Feb. 5), IU Indianapolis (Feb. 7), Milwaukee (Feb. 18), and Cleveland State (Feb. 25). They will travel for their second meetings with Detroit Mercy (Feb. 12), Oakland (Feb. 14), Northern Kentucky, (Feb. 21), and will close out the regular season with Robert Morris (Feb. 28).
Season tickets are on sale now for the 2025-26 season, with individual game tickets set to go on sale in October.

Oakland went 9-22 overall last season with a 6-14 mark in Horizon League play. The Golden Grizzlies entered the conference tournament as the 10 seed beating IU Indianapolis in the first round before falling to the eventual champions, Green Bay, in the quarterfinals. The Raiders lead the all-time series 22-8, with the two teams slitting the series last season.
Purdue Fort Wayne (Dec. 7, Fort Wayne IN | Feb. 5 Nutter Center)
Purdue Fort Wayne comes off a 27-9 with an 18-2 mark in HL play. The Mastodons ranked second in the HL, taking down Wright State in the quarterfinals and Cleveland State in the semifinals before falling to Green Bay in the championship game. Purdue Fort Wayne holds the edge over Wright State in the all-time series 13-11, sweeping the season series over the Raiders 3-0)
Youngstown State (Dec. 16, Youngstown, OH | Jan. 14, Nutter Center)
The Penguins finished the 2024-25 season with a 12-19 overall record, going 7-13 in conference. Youngstown State entered the conference tournament as the ninth seed losing to the Raiders 58-73 in the first round. Wrights State holds a 43-31 lead in the all-time series, sweeping the season series over the Penguins 3-0.
Green Bay (Dec. 30, Nutter Center | Jan. 29, Green Bay, WI)
Green Bay tallied their 18
th HL title last season, putting up a 29-6 overall record and 19-1 in conference play. Entering the tournament as the top seed, the Pheonix defeated Oakland, Robert Morris, and Purdue Fort Wayne en route to an automatic bid in the NCAA tournament.
Detroit Mercy (Jan. 2, Nutter Center | Feb. 12, Detroit, MI)
Last season, the Titans put up an even 15-15 overall record and 8-12 in conference play. As the six seed Detroit Mercy took down Milwaukee in the first round before falling to Cleveland state in the quarterfinals. Wright State leads the all-time series 39-29, the two teams split the season series last season with each team winning on their home court.
Cleveland State (Jan. 7, Cleveland, OH | Feb. 25, Nutter Center)
Cleveland State is coming off a 27-10 season, going 14-6 in conference play. The Viking took down Detroit Mercy in the conference tournament quarterfinal before falling to Purdue Fort Wayne in the semifinal. Wright State trails 42-47 in the all-time series with Cleveland State winning both games in the season series last season.
IU Indianapolis (Jan. 11, Indianapolis, IN | Feb. 7 Nutter Center)
IU Indy finished last season 9-21 overall and 8-12 conference play last season. The Jaguars entered the conference tournament as the seventh seed and fell in the first round to Oakland. Wright State leads the all-time series 15-10 over IU Indy.
Northern Kentucky (Jan. 17, Nutter Center | Feb. 21, Highland Hills, KY)
Northern Kentucky went 11-21 overall and 8-12 in conference a year ago, where their season ended in the first round of the conference tournament against Robert Morris. Wright State holds a 19-16 lead in the all-time series, the Raiders swept the season series last season.
Robert Morris (Jan. 25, Nutter Center | Feb. 28, Moon Township, PA)
Last season, Robert Morris went 15-16 overall and 10-10 in conference play. The Colonials entered the Horizon League tournament as the fourth seed and took down northern Kentucky in the quarterfinals before falling to Green Bay in the semifinals. Robert Morris leads to all-time series over Wright State by a small 6-9 margin, the Colonials took both games against the Raiders in the 2024-25 season.
Milwaukee (Jan. 31, Milwaukee, WI | Feb. 18, Nutter Center)
Milwaukee finished last season with a 8-24 overall record and a 5-15 mark in conference play. Wright State holds a narrow lead in the all-time series leading 37-35, the two teams split the season series last year each winning on their home court.
