In the game, WSU forced 31 turnovers and converted those into 41 points to earn their third victory of the season.

It took the Raiders almost five minutes to score their opening bucket and the host Seasiders held a 5-0 lead when Mahina Gago hit a three-pointer from the corner. Erica Richardson would convert a layup on an out-of-bounds play to get the scoring started for WSU, to make it a 5-2 ballgame.

WSU wouldn't trail for long, though, as six different Raiders would record point to navigate Wright State to a 13-7 lead at the 11:27 mark. Richardson would score four straight and freshman Maria Bennett would knock down a three from the right-wing to push WSU to a nine point lead - their largest lead of the first half - at 20-11 with 8:57 left in the half.

BYU Hawaii, however, would outscore the Green and Gold 17-9 to close the half and enter the break trailing by one point, 29-28.

Over the first eight minutes of the second half, neither team held a lead of more than two points and the Raiders trailed by two, 37-35, when Richelle Fenenbock stole the ball and converted a layup at the 13:26 mark.

The Green and Gold would start a long stretch of defensive pressure that led to an offensive scoring spurt and opened up a 20-point lead. The Raiders went on a 27-6 run over that span and after a Bennett three pointer, led 64-43.

The Raiders led by 28 points when Paige Lowe converted a layup with 3:16 left in the game, but BYU Hawaii would close the game on an 8-0 run to account for the final margin of 71-51.
