Peyton Burdick drove in five runs on a double and a home run while Chase Slone and Bentley Jones contributed two hits each. Matt Morrow, JD Orr, Gabe Snyder and Zach Weatherford each had singles as well as Orr and Jones registering three runs. Morrow, Snyder and Weatherford each posted an RBI.
Starter Caleb Sampen is now 4-0 after pitching seven innings, giving up three earned runs on six hits while striking out seven. Zane Collins pitched the eighth with two earned runs and Evan Moores finished the game with a hitless ninth.
Wright State is now 35-15 and 21-6. WSU ends the regular season tomorrow against the Norse with a 2 pm game. Senior Day festivities start at 1:30 pm. The Raiders, Horizon League regular-season champions, will host the conference tournament May 23-26.
