The Green and Gold added a run in the second inning, again benefiting from a CSU error, as Mote led off the inning with a double and scored on a misplayed Kopilchack bunt. Two runs in the third inning extended WSU's lead to 6-2, with only two runs being earned.

Two more Vikings errors allowed a pair of runs to score in the seventh inning for Wright State. Hamilton plated both runs in the inning to push his league leading total to 51 RBI's on the season and extend WSU's lead to 14-4.
