Mary & Al Schwarz Hall of Fame
Vicky Mercer-Hines, a three-sport athlete, starred in softball as a pitcher. As the team MVP in 1977, she had a .508 batting average with most hits and runs scored while starting every game as a pitcher.
She and her sister, Cindy Mercer elected in 1992, became the first sisters in the WSU Hall of Fame.
Vicky also competed in volleyball and basketball.
